As one of Colorado’s most influential creators, Bradley Roulier has always lived at the intersection of sound and experience. From co-founding Beatport to shaping Denver’s legendary Beta Nightclub and launching Manufactured Superstars, he helped define a generation of dance culture. Now, as one of the creative forces behind Bounce Empire, Bradley’s vision continues — only this time, it’s not just for nightlife, but for everyone who loves to play.

Q: Let’s say the park attractions each took on a DJ persona — which one delivers Tiësto’s mainstage anthem, which hits like a Deadmau5 banger, and which captures Illenium’s emotional drop?

I think it’s our 40,000 sq. ft. floor — Tiësto all the way. It has so much versatility, it’s always fun, unpredictable, and constantly improving.

When I think of Deadmau5, I think of the vibe — our hydraulic stage and translucent LED screen are something Mr. Mau5 would definitely approve of, especially paired with our sound system.

And for Illenium, it’s The Wild One, our world’s longest indoor inflatable obstacle course. When you’re getting close to the end, you still have a massive wall to climb before the final slide — by then, you’re physically and mentally exhausted. That last push feels exactly like an emotional drop.

Q: Say aliens touched down in Lafayette, CO and pointed to Bounce Empire — you’ve got one sentence to explain it before they judge humanity.

Let’s go play, eat, drink, and dance. My favorite is 2v2 Bounce Volleyball, so hopefully it’s three aliens.

Q: You turned Beatport into a global hub that defined how a generation discovered sound. If Bounce Empire declared independence tomorrow, which Beatport classic earns the national anthem remix?

Avicii’s “Levels.” No brainer.

Q: The Rubbish Bar looks like it could double as a luxurious Bond villain’s lair. If that were true, what’s the master plan unfolding inside?

The master plan? Lure in humans with world-class cocktails and a game of Connect 4 — I’m really good — disarm them with luxury, then recruit them into a bouncing society devoted to pleasure, play, and innovation.

Q: From founding one of the world’s top clubs to shaping an amusement park empire, your fingerprints are all over Colorado’s entertainment scene. Beta redefined nightlife — one might say its daytime cousin is Bounce Empire. What shared DNA links them?

First, they’re both designed to be indestructible — built to be jumped on, bounced on, and never ruined. They both bring smiles to everyone who walks in. That’s my favorite thing about both: the pure joy that comes out the moment people step inside.

Q: You’re still blasting off new tracks with Manufactured Superstars while helping build Bounce Empire. Where do those two creative worlds intersect?

They intersect on the stage and the dance floor — one builds the world, the other supplies the soundtrack. Both are about creating moments people remember forever.

Q: Through Sacred Society Music, you’ve been pioneering full Dolby Atmos immersive experiences — after that kind of depth, does stereo even stand a chance?

Once you’ve lived inside the immersive sound, it’s hard to go back to just listening from the outside. I’m a real snob when it comes to Dolby Atmos, but in my opinion, it’ll be the standard at some point.

Q: What would you like everyone to know about Bounce Empire and your involvement?

That it’s so much more than an amusement park — it’s an experiment in joy, design, and imagination. James did an elite job with the design, and Luke is one of the best operators out there.

Bounce Empire was built to entertain all ages, and I love that about it. I helped build it to remind people what it feels like to play again, no matter their age. Every detail, every sound, every light — it’s all crafted to make people smile the second they walk in.

For Bradley Roulier, joy is a design philosophy. From the club floor to the inflatable park to the 360-degree hydraulice stage, his mission has always been the same — create worlds that make people feel alive.

Discover your own next adventure at Bounce Empire’s events, enjoy handcrafted cocktails at the Rubbish Ultra Lounge, or plan a full day of play at the world’s largest indoor inflatable amusement park.
