Julianne Canterbury shares what it’s really like keeping up with high-energy kids at Bounce Empire — from obstacle course races to the snacks that keep everyone going.

We spent the day with Julianne Canterbury to hear about her family’s latest adventure at Bounce Empire. From chasing her two-year-old to discovering the best snacks for nonstop play, she brings a warm, relatable look at how much joy a day of bouncing can bring.

Q: Which attraction was hardest for you to keep up with your kids on?

Definitely the roller-coaster-themed obstacle course. Between squeezing, sliding, and climbing, my daughter was in heaven and wanted to go through it over and over again. I tried to keep up, but that thing is a workout. Watching her giggle the whole way through made it completely worth it.

Q: Who had the most energy on the floor — you or the kids?

My husband, hands down. He completely matched our two-year-old’s energy level, which is saying something. I couldn’t tell who was more excited. They were both running, bouncing, and laughing nonstop.

Q: Who in your family is falling asleep first after a big day of bouncing?

My daughter for sure. She didn’t even make it out of the parking lot before her eyes started to close. She mumbled, “That was so much fun,” and was asleep before we hit the main road. That’s how you know it was a good day.

Q: If Bounce Empire had a hidden treasure somewhere, where would it be?

That’s a tough one. There are so many fun spots to hide something. I’d say either inside the Star Wars Millennium Falcon inflatable or the Tiki-themed one. Both have so many nooks and places where kids — and adults — could go on a full treasure hunt adventure.

Q: Which snack gave you the ultimate Bounce energy?

The quinoa bowl and the mushroom crepe were my go-tos. As a vegetarian, I’m always looking for meals that are high in protein but still light enough to keep me moving. Both totally hit the mark. The quinoa bowl was packed with fresh veggies and flavor, and the mushroom crepe was light and full of goodness. They kept me energized without slowing me down.

For Julianne Canterbury, a day at Bounce Empire is equal parts energy, laughter, and connection. It’s the kind of outing where everyone leaves tired in the best way — happy, full, and already planning their next visit.
