From family training to national track rankings, LB at Bounce Empire reflects on raising a record-breaking daughter and how running keeps them close.

How One Father Is Nurturing a Track Star—Without Losing the Bounce

LB at Bounce Empire is more than just a proud dad—he’s the backbone of a rising track star’s support system. His 9-year-old daughter is already ranked 6th nationally in the USATF Junior Olympics, all while juggling gymnastics, volleyball, and being a kid. In 2026, LB plans to get her a personal strength and conditioning coach.

From CARA League Champion to Junior Olympics Contender

Q: How do you feel about her being undefeated for 2 years in the CARA league?

I am amazed. It’s an honor to watch my daughter run with confidence. As she continued to top CARA, we enrolled her in the Junior Olympics for a bigger challenge—though the CARA league remains a great way to hone skills and keep ahead of competition.

How It All Began

Q: How did she get interested in running?

She always loved running around, and we discovered the CARA league as a way to keep her active in the summer. Even as one of the youngest, she kept up with the older kids.

Q: How old was she when she started competing?

She started at 6 years old.

Her Current Rankings

  • #1 in Colorado – 100m & 200m (State Champion)
  • #6 Nationally – 100m (Age 9)
  • #32 in the 9–10 Division – 100m

A Family That Trains—and Plays—Together

Q: Does the whole family enjoy track and running?

I (LB) ran as a kid but drifted away from the sport. Now, the whole family is back into it. The Olympics are our favorite time of year, and track brings us together in a special way.

Q: Do you do running or sports together as a family?

We are a very athletic family. With my daughter being an only child, I prioritize staying active together—it keeps us bonded and healthy while supporting her training goals.

Discipline, Grit, and Growth

Q: How important is it to you that she continues with the sport?

It’s more important that Track teaches her discipline and work ethic. There are times when she doesn’t feel like training, but she pushes through—and that mental toughness will serve her for life.

Father vs. Daughter: Who’s Faster?

Q: Do you think your daughter could beat you in a race?

Not yet—but it’s close. I can feel her on my heels and really have to dig deep to stay ahead now.

Why Bounce Empire Fits the Athlete Family Lifestyle

For LB and his daughter, Bounce Empire legendary kids birthday parties and epic experiences offer more than celebration—they’re opportunities to stay active and make memories together.

Whether it’s training together or just enjoying time off the track, upcoming events at Bounce Empire give athletic families space to recharge.
